Solos:  The 1^st movement exposition of any standard, Romantic period concerto

3. Mozart – Symphony No. 39: mvt. II (Andante con moto) – meas. 69 – 125
4. Tchaikowsky Symphony No. 4, mvt. IV – beginning to letter B

Cello (one position)
Solos:  The 1^st movement exposition of any standard, Romantic period concerto

Orchestral excerpts:

1. Strauss – Don Juan – start at beginning, play through 5 meas. before reh. D
2. Mozart – Symphony No. 39, mvt. IV – begin w/ pick up to 116, play to letter C (138)
3. Tchaikowsky Symphony No. 4, mvt. I – pick up to letter H through letter I
4. Tchaikowsky Symphony No. 4, mvt. IV – seven after reh G through letter H

Bass (one position)
Concerto/solo:  The exposition of a standard concerto for bass – Koussevitzky, Bottesini, Vanhal, or other of your choice or 2 contrasting movements of an unaccompanied Bach Cello Suite
