Chamberlight: Concert by Candlelight

Experience the intimate joining of music and light.

The awe-inspiring beauty of one of St. Joseph’s most historic churches is the backdrop for a chamber concert of SJS musicians playing classical pieces and lighter musical fare lit only by candlelight. Soft flickers of light dance across the intricate stained-glass windows and illuminate the musicians, casting warm shadows across the room as the music unfolds with clarity and grace. Without the distance of a large stage, every note feels personal. The gentle ambiance invites deep listening, where time seems to slow and the outside world fades away. It’s an evening of elegance and reflection, where music and atmosphere come together in a truly magical way.
