09-30-2023 “Frank Oden's COWBOY JAMBOREE” – Season Opener

Frank Oden's cowboy poetry creates a lyrical narrative for music evocative of the American West. The story poems are interspersed between orchestral selections including John Williams' Cowboy's Overture, Aaron Copland's Four Dances from Rodeo and Rossini's William Tell Overture.

12-16-2023 “Holiday Cheer” with Guest Singers, The St Joseph Youth Chorale

Gather your family and friends, come downtown to the Missouri Theater and experience the sounds of the season with these talented local young vocalists!

03-16-2024 “Amadeus! Amadeus!” Guest Flutist Lory Lacy

Performing Mozart's gorgeous Concerto in D major for flute and orchestra and Mozart's Symphony No. 41 "The Jupiter," which was the composer's final symphonic work.

04-20-2024 Featuring The MWSU Aria and Concerto Winners

We are pleased to collaborate with Missouri Western State University on this music education experience. Come and support these promising young musicians! The evening concludes with an exciting symphony composed by Tchaikovsky.
